CLASS AND STATUTORY CERTIFICATION

Maritime Services

Service Overview

Classification Services: Conducting technical surveys and assessments for new-building ships and existing vessels to verify their compliance with CMCS's technical rules and international standards. Services cover hull structure, marine machinery, electrical systems, and navigation equipment, with the issuance of classification certificates to confirm seaworthiness and operational safety.

Statutory Certification: Acting as an authorized body for multiple flag states, CMCS performs statutory surveys and issues certificates in accordance with international conventions such as SOLAS, MARPOL, and STCW. These certificates ensure vessels meet mandatory requirements for sailing under various national flags, covering areas like load line, marine pollution prevention, and crew competence.
